We are delighted to see Neven's Irish Food Trails back this Wednesday the 28th of February at 8.30pm on RTE 1. This time Neven travels to counties Cavan, Limerick, Dublin, Meath, Wicklow, Wexford, Cork, Kerry, Carlow, Waterford and Kilkenny and visits some of the country’s most innovative and exciting food producers and chefs. From exploring the internationally renowned Irish dairy industry to visiting cutting edge Irish beef farms, Neven packs it all in. And as always, Neven cooks some of his own delicious recipes along the way all available on Bord Bia.ie In the first episode Neven travels to Cork to visit Toby Simmonds of Toons Bridge Dairy where he shows Neven how Italian cheese making techniques are combined with local milk to create delicious Irish mozzarella. Inspired by this Neven stirs up some delicious Mozzarella Fritter with Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Sauce. Make sure to tune in and spot some of our quality assured producers throughout the series.
